Spring has come early at Barsham Barns in Norfolk

Following the delightful sunshine that has been gracing the UK this last week, our fingers are crossed for it to stay and our thoughts are starting to turn towards the Spring season, and where better to enjoy the English sunshine than a staycation at the stunning Barsham Barns in North Norfolk. Whether you are planning a romantic weekend away, a celebration with friends or a family break, Barsham Barns offers chic, self-catered accommodation, with all the modern conveniences one would expect from a luxury holiday.

The barns range in size, sleeping from 4 – 14 and can also cater for large birthday parties, intimate weddings and business retreats. Located close to the Norfolk Coast, the Barsham Barns are just a few miles from the famous seaside towns of Blakeney, Wells-next-the-Sea, Burnham Market and Holkham.

Barsham Barns are a collection of 6 luxury barns which have been converted by renowned architect, Anthony Hudson, and interior designed by his wife, Jenny Dale. The husband and wife duo have taken influences from their travels around the world to create six individual barns. From Moroccan inspiration, to Scandinavian chic, modern contemporary and quintessentially English, each barn is designed to appease a different taste.

The layout of the barns has been planned with entertaining in mind, each barn features large, open plan living rooms, with high ceilings and exposed beams.  Deep set sofas and floor to ceiling French windows allow natural sunlight in, whilst modern kitchens and vast dining tables create a natural area for everyone to congregate. Each barn offers en-suite bedrooms and private, enclosed gardens, ideal for alfresco dining and somewhere for the children to run free.

During the day, long walks along Holkham beach, shopping in Burnham Market, crab fishing in Blakeney and pub lunches are a must. Whilst in the evenings guests can retreat to the small spa to soak in the Jacuzzi or indulge in a spa treatment in the comfort of their room. For those who don’t want to cook, local, home cooked meals can be delivered upon arrival, alternatively the barns are located close to a number of farm shops which sell locally sourced, organic produce, home cooked meals and all the essentials.
