The Bay Islands have a reggae beat and offer some of the best diving and snorkeling in the region. The Mesoamerican Reef is the second largest barrier reef in the world, and it boasts an amazing underwater ecosystem full of marine life. Roatan is the most popular island for those who seek some more creature comforts, and Utila is suited for the backpackers who want cheaper accommodations.

Leon has played host to some of the country’s most important artistic and political moments in history. Alive with energy, the city has historic churches and cathedrals that set the stage for the artistic vibes. Leon has awe inspiring art collections, amazing streetscapes, cosmopolitan eateries, and a high-energy nightlife.
