Summer is here, and you are likely itching to get back in your RV and traverse the country to sights you have yet to see. The excitement is surely brimming, but do you know where to go? The wonderful thing about traveling is that you can visit and see places you never expected or thought to see. Thankfully with your RV, you can travel to all these fun places this summer, so you never miss out on a thing.
Tybee Island, Georgia
Once you have your RV ready for the summer, all you have to do is get in and go. Your first destination should be the glimmering Tybee Island near Savannah, Georgia. Head over to the River’s End Campground & RV Park. It’s just a few blocks from the beach, making it easy to head over and spend hours on the shore. At Tybee Island, you can enjoy the sea breeze, go fishing, and bask in the lush history of the land.
Glacier National Park
If the beach ignites the visual craving of glorious mountains spanning thousands of miles, then visit the Glacier National Park in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. You can do as much as you please. Backpack, cycle, or camp and you might even get a glimpse of elk, sheep, moose, and goats. Make sure you have your camera in stow because you will see countless aspects of nature that you won’t want to forget.
Badlands of South Dakota
The amazing thing about our country is that we have the luxury of visiting landscapes and climates that vary quite dramatically. Keeping with that theme, one of the most fun places you can travel this summer in your RV is the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. The Badlands provide a great opportunity to learn more about Native American culture and history. Dive deeper into our history and check out the fossils of the three-toed horse and saber-toothed cats.
