Pedometer – Step Counter & Free Calorie Burner
This product was recommended by Caleb Gray from Click Physiotherapy
I love using walking apps with my clients as it gives them a target to strive for with staying active. This pedometer app has been one of my favourites for a number of reasons: #1 – it is easy to download and install onto your phone, just a one click process and you have the app that works! This is a big positive as the easier it is to set up, the more use the app will get. #2 – this app runs in the background without draining much phone battery and it’s easy to check how you are progressing throughout the day. On my phone I can just swipe down and instantly see how many steps I have achieved in the day. #3 – it allows you to set goals and gives you encouragement as you come close to these goals. There has been many times where I’ve come close to my walking goal, and as the app reminds me I make an effort to get the last of my days step count in before bed. #4 – this app comes with badges for when you walk a certain amount of distance over a number of days. For instance I received a badge saying Milan to Rome as I walked that distance over a few weeks.
