I have 2 kids and our favorite carrier when they were toddlers is the toddler version of the Tula brand carrier. My kids are only 18 months apart and we were able to pack 2 toddler Tulas in a backpack to use on vacation instead of a stroller. They roll up small and are light weight. You can wear your child on your front or back with the toddler Tula. I prefer wearing them on my back, but sometimes, like when walking in a cave in Georgia, they had to be worn on the front. Tulas come in many patterns and colors, so everyone can purchase one to match their style.
