I’ve used pretty much every single outdoor basketball in existence. Some belonged to me, and others I got to use in the pickup games. I’d say the best outdoor basketball is the Molten BG3800. Indoor and outdoor basketballs have only one difference – durability. To achieve this durability, outdoor basketballs should be made of rubber, just like the Molten BG3800. The Molten BG3800’s synthetic material includes rubber, making it long-lasting and also providing a good grip, even when your hands are sweaty. To be fair, the BG4500 is slightly superior in quality and grip, but it’s a lot more expensive. I recommend the BG3800 because it balances cost and need perfectly, delivering everything you want in an outdoor basketball at a modest price.
