The Joovy Kooper X2 Double Stroller is the best choice for travel. It has a compact fold, car seat compatibility, and weighs only 27 pounds. It’s made for comfort and real life with full access storage baskets and a removable bumper bar. The one-hand, standing fold makes it easy to fold when you’re on the go. This stroller can accommodate 2 children from birth to 50 lbs each, making it the perfect balance of value and quality.
The Mountain Buggy Nano Duo Buggy is a perfect double stroller for travel. The stroller is lightweight coming in at only 20lbs. This is a side by side compact stroller which makes it small enough to still fit in doorways. The stroller is car seat compatible for infants and has a deep recline for toddlers to nap in. Even with its compact size there is still plenty of storage space underneath the stroller to fit all necessities while out and about. The stroller folds into a compact fold that also comes with a carry strap making it easy to quickly pick up and bring through airplanes or other transportation.
I have 2 kids under the age of 5 and have tried multiple different double strollers. I finally landed on the City Mini GT2 and it has blown the other double strollers out of the water. This stroller is a side-by-side one, which allows for easy pushing even in the toughest of terrains. I take it on long walks, through more wooded areas, strawberry picking in the spring, and to the pumpkin patch in the fall. It is super smooth on concrete, but it really shines on bumpier terrain. It glides easily over grass, roots, sticks, and stones. Another amazing feature is how compact it is! It is hard to find a double stroller that isn’t super wide and clunky. Baby jogger has really slim downed this stroller – it can go through a door with ease, making it particularly useful for travel. It’s pretty easy to fold and unfold, I can do it completely on my own with no help, even while managing 2 young kids. After giving this one a try, I actually ended up selling the other double strollers I had and now this is the only one I own.

The Joovy double stroller is made of mainly nylon material, hence providing a strong and stable material for your children. This inexpensive double umbrella stroller is only 18 lbs (!!) and is perfect for travel. It folds neatly and compactly, features two hanging storage bags and two-parent cupholders on each seat, and each seat has a 5-point safety belt but lacks a sunshade (very small).
This is the greatest lightweight and easy-glide stroller on the market. It was simple to put together, and the two cupholders are a great feature. It is very well made and easy to collapse. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat!

This stroller wagon is amazing! My husband and I are not easily impressed and this is worth every penny so far. I did hours of research before deciding on the Pivot Explore. Its perfect not only for our two kids but also for our groceries. Its so easy to handle and stores easily in the car. We have improvised and even placed a storage box at the feet area to level it so the kids can sleep. And they sleep very well in it.

After I had my second was born, my husband and I still wanted to be able to get out and travel so finding a stroller that was going to be able to carry our youngest and 2 year old was very important. We looked around for a while before we finally came to the conclusion that the Bugaboo Donkey 5 is the best double stroller (in general) but also is smaller and lighter than you expect and collapses down nicely if you want to travel by car, or by plane. It’s quite an investment but will last us a long time and is certainly worth it.

It’s hard to beat the UPPAbaby Vista V2 for travel. You can fold it using just one hand, which is one of its best features, especially when traveling alone with children and needing to hold a child and fold a stroller simultaneously. Another advantage of this stroller is its versatility. It can go from an infant basinet-style stroller to a double-seated stroller, and you can even purchase a standing platform to add a toddler to the setup. The stroller folds up compactly and will fit in a trunk easily along with your luggage, so you won’t have to worry about holding your suitcases in your lap to make room for the stroller.
