Javea, Spain
This product was recommended by Samantha Wragg from Coco Travels
If you are travelling from UK to Spain, Javea is a great place to travel to. You can fly into nearby airport Alicante in under three hours from the UK and it is a quieter resort than neighbouring Benidorm. There are lots of amazing places to eat paella, a beautiful seafront and promenade and there are mountain hikes which you can do if you’re feeling active. There’s also a beautiful old town with cobbled streets and a bustling weekly market. It’s the perfect mix of sea and mountains with amazing views everywhere you look.
Ireland
This product was recommended by Joe Flanagan from 90s Fashion World
Firstly, it is a very short trip. Depending on where you depart it might be as easy as a short boat or airplane ride. Ireland has plenty of amazing places, like the Ring of Kerry, the Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle and many more. Accommodation and ease of communication are superb. People are friendly and helpful, no matter where you are. I particularly enjoyed making it a road trip and going around the island checking out different places on my own time. You might consider making it an RV trip, which will also take care of any sanitation angst you might have when thinking of hotels or B&Bs.
Montenegro
This product was recommended by Nicole Hunter from Go Far Grow Close
Montenegro is a small yet spectacularly beautiful European country that is jam-packed with natural beauty from majestic mountains to gorgeous lakes, rivers, and, of course, the ocean. It is inexpensive relative to other Western European countries, authentic and, in many parts of the country, untouched by tourism. In addition to natural beauty, Montenegro also offers history and culture. Kotor old town is a beautiful medieval city built between the 12th and 14th centuries and completely surrounded by fortified walls. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site that is filled with winding cobblestone paths, medieval architecture, and historic monuments. Excellent hotels, restaurants, and retail stores are scattered throughout the town within the medieval architecture. It is a pedestrian-only zone and a fantastic spot to people watch.
Greece
This product was recommended by Ayesha Holloman from Outdoorish
Greece is a place you can travel to from the UK. Rugged mountains, exotic, untouched beaches with crystal clear waters, green valleys, quiet lakes and lush forests – Greece has all that. Get the opportunity to explore diverse lifestyles and wonders in one place, as the natural beauty and variety are bound to amaze you.
Turkey
This product was recommended by David Leiter from The World Travel Guy
The country is open to tourists from all countries (including the UK), and no quarantine or testing is required, just masks and temperature checks on arrival.. Restaurants, parks, markets, and beaches are open, along with major tourist sites like the Hagia Sophia and Cappadocia’s hot air balloon rides. Best of all, Turkey’s virus cases seem to be safely under control, and there’s been no big spike since they opened to tourism back in June. We researched this recently and decided that Turkey is the best bet for international tourists this summer.
Prague, Czechia
This product was recommended by Ojas Mhatre from Unstumbled
Prague, Czechia Not only is this city one of the most beautiful cities in all of Europe but with a relatively low number of cases, fewer deaths and a flattened curve. It is also one of the best countries and cities to visit this summer amid the COVID-19 Pandemic While people are expected to comply with social distancing measures, you are only expected to cover your mouth when on the metro, in the airport or in some other places of transit.
