Tioman Island, Malaysia

This product was recommended by Ian Vivi from WNFdiary
Tioman is a quiet island where big hotels still didn’t find its way, and you can still find a beach for yourself. One day we opted for a remote Monkey Beach, which is between Salang Village and Panuba Inn Resort. To get there, we walked for about two hours in the dense jungle, and it is not easy. However, in the end, the prize is worth it – the secluded beach with pristine nature. Is there any other way? Of course, it is, you can rent a boat taxi, but where is the charm of doing that. Well, unless it is an emergency!
On our way back, we desperately needed a boat because I got stung by a bee and because of my allergy, the traveling time mattered. Long story short, in the end, everything was fine. Why in the world am I still claiming this was the best trip with my wife? That is because the time we spend on that beach was magical. Our only company were monkeys, and we slept under the million stars. On top of that, we did some camping style hotdogs, shared our thoughts, and even did some skinny dipping.
I can say this was our castaway, and we would do it again anytime! Unforgettable! Tioman is perfect due there is not everything ruined with big hotels. You will rather find some local accommodations instead. It is kinda ironic how people are making tourism and kill it at the same time. However, Tioman is perfect for couples who are in search for some tranquil vibe and nature surround.
Blue Lagoon, Iceland

This product was recommended by Dan Steeden from Horo Travel Memories
A lesser-known romantic destination for couples, but one with no less magic and wonder, is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Slipping into the pleasingly toasty water with your partner is a novel and surprisingly spiritual experience that you will be happy you shared. You can grab a free drink (alcoholic is advised for maximum enjoyment) and silicon face mask, before floating around in blissful relaxation.
The vivid blue the emanates from the water is almost ethereal and really contributes to the otherworldly sense that all of Iceland offers. The Blue Lagoon is essentially a giant, unique spa treatment and one that couples will remember for the rest of their lives.

Santorini, Greece

This product was recommended by Joonas Jokiniemi from Grill Smoke Love
We visited Santorini island a few years ago with my wife, and we loved it. It is a beautiful place that has many nice hotels and restaurants. They also produce excellent wines, as the volcanic soil is great for vineyards. Especially the local white wines, paired with fresh fish, offered us some unforgettable dinners. What really makes Santorini special, are the amazing views from its high cliffs.
One morning we woke up just before sunrise and started hiking along the eastern edge of the island. We began our trek towards the north gazing at the rising sun shedding light on a breathtaking view. After 4-hours of trekking, just when it started to get almost unbearably hot, we arrived at our destination. Oia is a small and picturesque village, known throughout the world for its beauty, where a local tavern served us a refreshing brunch.

A dozen nations vie for the title of real-life Shangri-La, but Bhutan’s claim has more clout than most. This tiny piece of Himalayan paradise operates a strict ‘high-value, low-impact’ tourism policy, compelling travellers to pay a high daily fee just to set foot in its pine-scented, monastery-crowned hills. The pay-off for visitors is a chance to walk along mountain trails unsullied by litter, in the company of people whose Buddhist beliefs put them uniquely in tune with their environment.

Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, the town of Beacon brims with couple-friendly activities. First, set your home base at The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls. Ylang Ylang Resort in Costa Rica

This product was recommended by Mike Scarpignato from RVBlogger
Ylang Ylang Resort is a small boutique resort located in Montezuma, Costa Rica and it is an amazing place for couples to visit. It is situated between a white sandy beach and a rich tropical jungle alive with exotic wildlife and tropical greenery. The resort itself is secluded from the small town of Montezuma. In fact, you can’t even drive to this small all inclusive resort. It is inaccessible by car or most trucks because it is located right where the thick jungle swoops down the mountainside to meet the beach which is strewn with incredible rock formations along the shoreline.
The resort features romantic bungalows located in the jungle, on the beach or in the tree top canopy that are unique and surrounded by local wild life including Howler Monkeys, White-Faced Capuchin Monkeys, Iguanas, Sloths, Toucans, and much more. The restaurant is located on a terrace overlooking the ocean and prepares an amazing menu of local gourmet fare.
And the wait staff is incredibly personable and friendly. From the resort you can walk down the beach and hike up any stream flowing out of the jungle toward the ocean and find waterfalls with plunge pools deep enough for swimming. Or you can get out and explore the local area. You can take a boat ride to Tortuga Island, have lunch, enjoy the beach and snorkel or jet ski. You can go screaming through the jungle on a zip line with a breathtaking view over the jungle canopy. You can barter at the local stores and shops with craftmakers. Or you can watch the sun set over the deep blue Pacific Ocean. Ylang Ylang Resort in Costa Rica is like no other place on the planet that I have visited and it is the perfect romantic yet adventurous getaway location for any couple.
