The Redwood National & State Parks are a top location to travel to with an infant. It is a beautifully unique destination that you won’t find anywhere else in the world and will be stunning for you as the parents and any siblings.. You can visit the Trees of Mystery or find a cozy AirBnb cabin and take a few hikes to the nearest park in the morning and afternoon. The great part about traveling to a National Forest is that it doesn’t matter how much noise your infant makes, how much mess they create when they have a snack, and during your whole trip you can go at your own pace. Need to stop for a milk feed? Go for it! Need to plan for a morning nap? You can! Or your baby can have one in a carrier and drift off to the sounds of the birds and the view of the trees above. We found the Tula carrier to be a great addition to our travels to the redwood forest and walking through the Trees of Mystery while hearing the tales of Paul Bunyan. Our 8 month old loved exploring the views, sounds, smells, and playing in a natural place. Meanwhile, we were stress free because we could go at our own pace the whole time.

The best part about visiting Disneyland with toddlers is that admission is free until they reach the age of three. This entitles them to free admission to the parks as well as complimentary meals in all sit-down restaurants. Disneyland offers traditional kid’s meals (pizza, nuggets, etc.) as well as a variety of healthful choices (grilled chicken, veggies, etc). And you can get milk virtually anyplace (something our two-year-old was overjoyed about). If your child is still in diapers or is potty training, the Baby Care Center, which also sells toddler things, is a great place to shop.
