Much of the Caribbean is open for traveling. There are some changes and restrictions in place but as long as a traveler takes the right precautions and has the right attitude the experience is largely the same as we are used to. We felt safe and pampered. I own a travel agency focused on family-friendly and couples’ travel and it’s our full-time work right now to keep up with travel rules and restrictions.

Cancun Mexico has beautiful beaches, resorts, and nightlife. Cancun reopened for tourism on June 8th. Cancun was one of the first destinations in the world to receive the Safe Travels global safety and hygiene stamp from the World Travel & Tourism Council. The stamp shows that Cancun has implemented the new safety measures for travelers that the WTTC has recognized and approved.

Vacation is a time for relaxation and putting our worries aside! Although much as changed in the world, that is one thing that hasn’t! I’ve suggested your next vacation be at Estudio Playa Mujeres Cancun because safety is a top priority! If you don’t feel safe, then you can’t relax while on vacation, which is the point! I’ve also suggested this location because of a great deal if you book now!

It’s 3 hour north of Dallas. It’s home to a beautiful Beaver’s Bend State park, lush forests, great hiking and the deepest lake Oklahoma. The lake is mountain-spring fed which keeps the water cool year-round. You can boat, swim, canoe and fish. There are wineries, restaurants, and horseback riding. There are 3000 cabins as well as RV and tent camping.

The Black Hills are super underrated so are usually not too crowded (other than first part of August for Sturgis Rally). There a ton to see & do in the area and the natural beauty is unmatched. Highly recommend .

If you’re looking to travel and still abide by social distancing rules then nature is your best bet and few other places offer the freedom and scenic beauty of Big Bend in Texas. You’ll see starry filled night skies and 1,500 ft walls when traveling the Santa Elena Canyon. You can even walk across the Rio Grande straight into Mexico and eat with locals. One day isn’t enough to visit and you could easily spend a week with all there is to see in one of the most spectacular places in Texas.

Thailand has done a wonderful job in controlling COVID and is one of the 15 countries marked by EU as safe to travel. Originally it was going to open its border to tourists on 1 Aug, but the plan has been delayed. It is likely to open up shortly and it is definitely a top tourist destination with wonderful beaches when it reopens!

With heavy travel restrictions in place, many Americans are unable to travel to the exotic destinations they’d prefer. However, there are so many amazing sights within our nation’s borders, and New Mexico has a bunch of them. New Mexico is a culture-rich state, filled with incredible cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, and adventures in every corner. Down south, White Sands National Monument is one of the most stunning national parks the country has to offer. In the north, Santa Fe’s vibrant art scene is as picturesque as the mountains surrounding it. Albuquerque is the hot air balloon capital of the world, and if you visit at the right time, you may be able to catch some take flight. New Mexico is known as the Land of Enchantment, and with so many interesting things to see in the open air, now is the perfect time to explore it!

With less than 200 fatalities due to Covid19, Equatorial Guinea is probably one of the less impacted countries in Africa. The adventures you would encounter in such amazing region are mostly outdoor and for sure not crowded. Note that this region is the 7th less visited country in the world. Amritsar While India is slowly finding its way back from the onslaught of the COVID-19 Pandemic. One of the many destinations that have opened up and is welcoming tourists is Amritsar. Amritsar is most famously known for being home to the most important site in Sikhism. The Golden Temple, a visit to the temple is truly unlike no other. Apart from the serenity of the temple, it’s also extremely close to the Wagah Border, which is extremely famous among Indian and international tourists alike owing to the very entertaining beating retreat ceremony at the border at sunset. Amritsar is also a food haven and you are likely to find some of the most delicious and wholesome food at every nook and corner of the city. If this is not enough to tempt you into visiting Amritsar it is also just 4 hour aways from the mountain town of Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh.

100% seclusion in nature during COVID. In my article 15 Dreamiest and Best Airbnb’s in Joshua Tree, I suggest amazing homes for rent in the middle of nowhere for a truly memorable vacation. Located just one hour from Palm Springs, it’s best know for Joshua Tree National Park. The park has two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and the Colorado making it feel like you’ve left Earth all together with the awe-inspiring landscape. Joshua Tree is the perfect location to explore a national park, stargaze at night, and take a swim in the pool while looking at miles and miles of desert. This is perfect for couples and families to ensure you’re being safe while also having a true vacation this year.

Jamaica would be a great place to visit, as mostly all the travelers are allowed there. But not only that after covid nature has gained a sort of renewal and that would definitely be a sight for sore eyes, after staying at home.
This product was recommended by Sara Dyson from Expat in Croatia
Croatia is one of the few countries in the world right now that is currently welcoming American citizens. Due to COVID-19, Croatia’s biggest coastal and island destinations are much quieter than usual. Tourists have a unique opportunity to experience Croatia’s beaches, national parks, islands, wineries and historical sites without the usual throngs of cruise ship passengers. Croatia has managed to curb the outbreak within its borders very well, making it a safe place for people to enjoy. To enter Croatia, American citizens must present a negative PCR test that is no older than 48 hours. A visa is not needed.

Since the start of the CoVID-19 pandemic, Dominica, the nature isle of the Caribbean, has recorded only 18 cases of CoVID19, and all patients screened and tested positive have fully recovered. There have been no casualties. All the patients were also returning nationals and visitors on the island during the season. This attests of the fact that the healthcare system on the island is well designed to stop the spread of the virus, to perform effective contact tracing, and to prevent the worsening of the pandemic. The island has progressively reopened its borders (first to returning nationals, and now to international and foreign visitors). The island offers a lot of ecotourism activities (perfect for social distancing), such as nature hikes, waterfalls experiences and sulphur baths!

The places we can travel to right now help us to feel some sort of stability. Connecting with nature and looking at the world during a time like this is important for us all to stay afloat.
