Outer Banks, North Carolina

This product was recommended by Dani O’Brien from Culley Avenue

Specifically staying at the White Doe Inn bed and breakfast. You can visit the lighthouse on Cape Hatteras and then relax at one of the many spas that the Outer Banks provides. It’s a charming, relaxing getaway!

Oahu, Hawaii

This product was recommended by The Hotel King from Luxury on Points

Oahu, Hawaii is normally thought of as a honeymoon destination. But it’s actually a fantastic place to visit with your mom because it’s so easy for people with different energy levels to have a great time together on vacation on Oahu. Whether you’re at a beach or a resort, you can be as active or inactive as you like – together. If you want, you can surf or kayak while your mom reads on the beach or by the pool. And Oahu has a lot more to do than just hang out in Waikiki. There are secret beaches, excellent food, and hotels that let you get up close and personal with dolphins – free.

Charleston, South Carolina

This product was recommended by Sonya Matejko from SonyaMatejko

One of my favorite vacations with my mom was in Charleston, South Carolina. It was the perfect mix of history, charm, and mouth-watering food. We spent our days hopping from museums (like the Old Slave Mart and the Aiken Rhett museum) to brunching on the town (at places like Husk and Poogan’s Porch), or we’d wander the serene waterfront and later shop along King Street. At night we’d grab apps at SNOB and take a boat tour at sunset, or hop on a ghost tour and catch a nightcap at Carmella’s dessert bar. There were endless options, and my itinerary was packed with tasty treats and historical landmarks. It was the perfect mother-daughter trip, and it was made even better with our stay at King Charles Inn–the most perfect boutique hotel in an ideal location. Even in the middle of June, we walked everywhere, and we couldn’t have had a better time in Charleston’s summer.

Palm Springs, California

This product was recommended by Jessica Miller from Bike Inquire

This is one of my mom’s and my personal fave places to go when we just wanna relax. The city of Palm Springs is a super serene space full of palm trees, rooftop pools, and shopping opportunities. Yes, Coachella and Stagecoach are held in Indio, just a few miles away from Palm Springs, so if you want to take your mother-daughter trip up a notch, I suggest planning your visit around the festival dates.

San Miguel de Allende

This product was recommended by Darlene Tenes from CasaQ

This quaint town outside of Mexico City has an abundance of arts, culture, music and great places to eat. Oh wait, did I mention the shopping? We should have brought an extra massive suitcase just for the fabulous finds. I especially loved that we stayed in a home with a beautiful and fantastic staff that cooked us wonderful meals or had cocktails & hors d’oeuvres ready to enjoy as the sun set.

Scottsdale, Arizona

This product was recommended by Eden Fite from Rock a Little Travel

Scottsdale is one of the best places to travel with your mom because it has excellent weather year round, plenty of resorts with large pools, unique stores and boutiques for shopping, and a trendy restaurant scene in downtown. For moms who like hiking and the outdoors, the popular Camelback Mountain is nearby and perfect for an early morning hike with incredible views of the surrounding city and desert.

Norway

This product was recommended by Pratik Narkhede from Dolby360

The midnight sun, the northern lights, the Nobel Prize, polar bears, Vikings, and trolls. Norway has plenty of things that can capture the imagination of peoples.

Vietnam

This product was recommended by Pratik Narkhede from Dolby360

If your mom loves beaches, history, and nature then you should go to Vietnam. Vietnam is a great place to travel, where you’ll get lots of unknown history and other adventurous things.

Petra, Rome

This product was recommended by Pratik Narkhede from Dolby360

Rome is one of the top historical cities in the world, it is also a good place to travel.

Corfu, Greece

This product was recommended by Alice Kotlyarenko from One Grand Trip

I took my mom on a Corfu vacation last summer, and she loved it. The island is lush and blooming, the sea is crystal clear, the fish and local wine are to die for. What’s great about Corfu is that it has rugged areas with dramatic cliffs for the more adventurous, but it also has plenty of sandy beaches with gentle slopes for those who just want to relax. We went to a small, quiet village of Agios Gordios, but I heard Paleokastritsa is even prettier if you’re up for a steep climb.

Italy

This product was recommended by Jake Isham from JakeIsham

Italy as a whole a great place to travel with one’s mom. My mom and I both have a love for cooking, an Italy has been a great source of inspiration to up our chef game after traveling there. Whether it be a small local pizza shop in Rome or a 5 star restaurant in Florence, the food is spectacular. Unfortunately, my mom thinks she can speak Italian by speaking English with an Italian accent. I end up embarrassed while the waiter just laughs. Additionally, we both love art and getting to see thousand of year old art in the Vatican to the marvels of the colosseum and forum are amazing. Finally, if you’re not a art or history lover, you can always escape to Italy’s beaches. Whether you are sharing a capuccino or a glass of wine, Italy is one of my favorite places to travel with my mom.

Broken Bow, Oklahoma

This product was recommended by Mark Wilcox from Camping Forge

This is the home base for the Beaver’s Bend State Park. And is located 3 hours north of Dallas. It is full of natural beauty (located in the foothills of the mountains of Eastern Oklahoma, western Arkansas, and Missouri) and the deepest lake in Oklahoma. While there are plenty of places to park an RV or pitch a tent, there are thousands of cabins to rent. The cabins allow you to live like you’re in a house while enjoying the rural area. There is boating, swimming, canoeing, fishing, hiking and horseback riding. There are also several wineries and restaurants. It is one of the prettiest parts of the US. And the state park currently has no commercial land. Thus once in the park, it is almost untouched by humans.

Sedona, Arizona

This product was recommended by Rachel Van Hofwegen from LuCorp Marketing, LLC.

Whether looking for profound natural beauty, a vibrant cultural scene, or a balance of adventure and serenity, the small city of Sedona, Arizona may offer the ideal destination for a trip with your mom. Located two hours north of Phoenix and two hours south of the Grand Canyon at an elevation of 4,500 feet, Sedona offers a majestic wilderness of red rock country and a diverse array of world-class art galleries, shops and restaurants. From thrilling jeep tours that explore the rugged landscape to uniquely Southwestern boutique inns, several small, local businesses have joined forces to welcome people (and pets!) to Sedona and highlight the area’s multitude of activities.

England

This product was recommended by Joe Flanagan from 90s Fashion World

If your mom is like mine and she loves to knit, the absolute best place you can take her is the UK. There are knitting tours there that take you around England, Ireland and Scotland to where the sheep are. You can observe the whole process, visit the wool mills and buy supplies for your own crafts. My favorite place for this was the Aran Isles because it is after all the place where fishermen knits were born.

Victoria, BC, Canada

This product was recommended by Adrienne Carrie-Hubbard from Hubbard Family Travels

Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia and located on Vancouver Island. It is accessible by ferry from both mainland BC and Washington State. Victoria is known as the garden city and there is plenty to do such as having a traditional afternoon tea at the Empress hotel downtown or visiting the world famous Butchart Gardens. There are lots of shopping opportunities in the walkable city as well as museums and restaurants. Victoria is the perfect destination for a mother-daughter getaway.

Iceland

This product was recommended by Noman Asghar from Fan Jackets

It is the safest place in the world and when your mom is afraid of traveling then you must go there to show her this breathtaking country that has a natural beauty. Your mom will really enjoy the trip and want to go to Iceland again.
